I am both an Army Veteran and military spouse, giving me two unique perspectives on this lifestyle. I have experience working in Child Welfare in multiple states and in multiple roles. As a therapist, I have worked in the School Based setting, working with children diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety / Depression, among others. I have also worked as an outpatient therapist, treating children and adults of various ages and diagnoses (to include Serious Mental Illnesses). I have specialized training in the treatment of suicidality and trauma (complex and Race-Based). My treatment interventions and approaches include: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma - Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), and Trauma Affect Regulation: Guide for Education and Therapy (TARGET)
