Alexandria Denson is a Provisional Marriage and Family Therapist Licensee. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Argosy University Online Division and her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University. She has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Structured Relationship Theory, anxiety, depression and substance abuse treatment. She has experience working with adolescents, early adulthood, mature adulthood, and those in old age. She will place focus on helping you discover your strengths and help you persevere through life challenges and difficulties. She utilizes a Person-Centered approach to assist you in gaining self-confidence, self-esteem, and a stronger sense of identity. Her therapeutic style involves using a solution-focused approach where we will create ideas for solutions to problems or challenges together. She is passionate about helping others struggling with their mental health, helping individuals that are going through difficult times or life-challenges, offering support, and providing tools and psychoeducation as needed to make positive changes. She believes that self-care plays an important role in a person’s overall mental well-being.
